How does the right of withdrawal work?
There is no right of withdrawal for auctions as it is not exclusively a remote auction. Buyers, whether consumers or businesses, cannot cancel the purchase after winning the bid. For Marketplace, the right of withdrawal may apply in sales between businesses and consumers, see the general terms and conditions for more details. It is the seller’s responsibility to provide the information required by the Distance Selling Act.

Can I retract a bid?
You cannot back out of a transaction once a bid is placed if it becomes the winning bid. This also applies to the seller, who is then obligated to sell to the winning bidder. Both parties are bound by the purchase, and the terms of the purchase are governed by the general terms and conditions.

When will my auction item be visible on the site?
As soon as the item is published and the registration fee is paid, the item will appear on the auction site. Buyers can start placing bids on Friday at 8:00 AM for a Sunday auction.

When must my auction ad be published to participate in the Sunday auction?
The last chance to register for an auction is Thursday (3 days before the auction) by 11:59 PM. You can choose which auction to register your item for.

How will TR Auction promote my auction ad?
Auction ads for horses that are ready and published on the platform by Sunday at 11:59 PM (7 days before the auction) will be featured in an ad in the upcoming week’s issue of Travronden at no extra cost. The ad will display the starting price and basic information. A selection of horses will also be featured with images in the ad. We will utilize Sweden’s largest media platform for harness racing to drive traffic to TR Auction. Additionally, TR Auction will continuously send out newsletters and use social media to spread interesting content to attract visitors to the site.

Can I promote my horse or item extra to maximize the chance of getting the best price?
We offer marketing packages to reach harness racing enthusiasts through TR Media’s advertising department. Contact markus.jalsborn@trmedia.se or johan.bergman@trmedia.se for assistance.

What is Marketplace?
It is a buy-and-sell marketplace that is part of TR Auction. The ad remains published for 30 days and then automatically deactivates. Buyers and sellers agree on the final price themselves, based on the terms of sale outlined in the general terms and conditions. You can choose to sell your items either through auction or Marketplace. When you place your auction ad, you can also choose to have your horse automatically listed on Marketplace at a fixed price if it goes unsold.

How do I place a bid on TR Auction?
You can place a bid digitally, but you can also register for physical bidding at TR Media’s office at Köpsvängen 26, near Bromma Blocks just outside Stockholm. If you want to participate in the auction room, you must register in advance by sending an email to support@trauktion.se by 12:00 PM on the Friday (2 days) before the auction, stating who you are and how many will attend. Bring identification to place a bid.

How do I sell/buy on TR Auction?
To sell an item or participate in bidding, you must have a TR Media account. It is the same account used to log into other TR Media services, such as travronden.se, spelvärde.se, jokersystemet.se, etc. If you don’t have an account, you can create one here. You must then accept the general terms and conditions on TR Auction via Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, or Danish BankID. If you encounter any issues, you can contact us at support@trauktion.se, and we will assist you.

Is a veterinary certificate required when selling a horse?
Yes. If you are selling a horse, a veterinary certificate must be uploaded no later than 1 day before the auction. This certificate must not be older than 7 days before the auction date. The auction listing will be postponed by a week if the document is not uploaded in time.

Is there anything specific to consider when selling a share in a horse through TR Auction?
If you are selling a share in a limited partnership horse at auction, the company agreement and supplementary agreements must be uploaded to the auction ad no later than 1 day before the auction. The auction listing will be postponed by a week if the document is not uploaded in time.

Can I sell a share in a horse regardless of which syndicate I use?
Yes, TR Auction is not tied to any specific syndicate. Whether you have a share in a horse with Easy KB, Asap KB, Stall of course, or another arrangement, you can sell via auction or list your share for sale on Marketplace.

Is there anything extra to consider when selling a pregnant mare or a share in a breeding stallion?
Yes, the veterinary certificate must be supplemented with a pregnancy certificate when selling a pregnant mare, uploaded no later than 1 day before the auction. When selling a share in a breeding stallion, a copy of the share contract with the share number must be sent to support@trauktion.se. The auction listing will be postponed by a week if the document is not submitted in time.

How does a withdrawal work?
All items sold on TR Auction have a fixed starting price, and it is up to the seller to monitor their item. If the seller wins the bidding, it is considered a withdrawal. Note that the same account used to list the item for sale must be the one winning the bidding.

Can I, as a seller, withdraw an item from auction?
If a seller withdraws a registered auction item up to 48 hours before the auction, no fee will be charged other than the registration fee. After this period, an additional fee of 2,500 SEK (excluding VAT) will be charged.

How do I know who won the bidding?
Once the bidding is concluded, the winner will be announced on the website.

What happens after the auction is completed?
The Breeding Association ASVT helps with invoicing and informs the seller when payment is made, and the money is deposited into the account.

When should the horse or auction item be collected?
According to the general terms and conditions, the buyer must collect the auction item from the seller within 10 days. Otherwise, the seller has the right to charge the buyer operational costs or even cancel the purchase. However, the parties can agree on other conditions. It is important that the payment is made before the horse or item is handed over to the buyer. Read more in the general terms and conditions.

How is the seller’s commission and buyer’s fee invoiced?
After the auction is completed, an invoice is sent to the buyer, including the buyer’s fee, which is handled by the Breeding Association ASVT. Once the payment is received, the seller is paid, with deductions for the seller’s commission and listing fee.

Can I know in advance the exact time my item will be auctioned?
The horse or item has been given an end time when activated, but it will be extended if a new bid is placed near the end time. It is up to the seller to monitor the auction to track their item.

When should I, as a buyer, pay for my winning auction item?
Payment must be made before the buyer can collect the auction item from the seller unless otherwise agreed between the seller and buyer.

What happens if a dispute arises between the buyer and the seller?
TR Auction acts as an intermediary service between the buyer and seller. Therefore, any disputes are handled directly between the buyer and seller. The general terms and conditions outline the rights and obligations of both the buyer and seller, and they are intended to specify the terms of the transaction in advance. It is, therefore, crucial that both buyers and sellers carefully read the terms and conditions.
